Letterman to Film “Greatest Movie Ever Made” in Derby

Whether or not it's "The Greatest Movie Ever Made" will be up to the audience, but a movie with that title will definitely be filmed in Connecticut.

According to the New Haven Register, crews will be shooting in Derby for the next two to three weeks.

The movie follows the lives of five high school seniors from Buckstown, New York. Filming could start at Ryan Field on Monday and then moves to Derby High School by the end of June. David Letterman's production company, World Wide Pants, is behind the project and Bill Pullman will star.

The Register reports that some students from Derby High School could also make an appearance in the movie.
