2 Dead, 1 Seriously Injured in Lebanon Crash

Two people are dead and a third seriously injured after a crash on Kick Hill Road in Lebanon Friday afternoon.

Police said that three occupants were ejected and that two were killed. The third was seriously injured and taken to Hartford Hospital for treatment.

The deceased victims have been identified as 43-year-old Levorio Guerrieo, of Bronx, NY, and 42-year-old Alejandro Rentas of Bronx, NY. The third victim was identified as a 39-year-old man, also from Bronx, NY.

The crash happened around 2:40 p.m. According to police, the men were traveling east on Kick Hill Road near Gregory Road in a Hyundai Sonata. For some reason the car veered into the westbound lanes and crashed into trees in the westbound shoulder.

Police are still trying to determine who was driving at the time. The crash remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Buchetto at State Police Troop K at 860-465-5400 ex. 4092.

The road was closed near Gregory Road through to Sanitarium Road on the South Windham side for several hours while authorities investigated, but has since reopened.
