Two people were taken to the hospital after a head-on crash on Route 30 in Tolland on Tuesday morning.
Police said one vehicle was going north on Route 30 near the intersection of Eaton Road when it crashed head-on into a vehicle traveling south on the same road.
LifeStar was called to pick up one driver, but could not fly due to the weather, dispatchers said.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital by ambulance, officials added. Neither injury is considered life-threatening.
The driver who was traveling north was given an infraction for failure to maintain his or her lane, according to police.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
