Police have arrested the 32-year-old maintenance worker accused of sexually assaulting a North Haven resident when she invited him into her apartment to fix her air conditioner.

According to police, a female resident of the Briarwood Hills apartment complex at 100 State Street approached Bernardo Corona and asked him to fix her air conditioning unit on May 8. Police said Corona is a maintenance worker at the apartment complex.

Corona entered the woman's apartment and repaired her air conditioner. Before he left, he began to kiss and grope the woman, even after she tried pushing him away, according to police.
