Bridgeport police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that injured a 22-year-old man Tuesday night.
Officers responded to Washington Avenue near Highland Avenue in Bridgeport at 7:15 p.m. after receiving calls reporting shots fired.
Police discovered a man, 22, with a gunshot wound to the stomach.
An ambulance transported the man to St. Vincent's Hospital. He is listed in stable condition.
The identity of the man hasn't been released at this time and no suspect has been identified.
Bridgeport detectives are investigating the shooting.
