A New Haven man has been arrested, accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl.
Meriden police arrested Kevin Schupp, 35, on Friday and said the sexual assault happened at a hotel on the Berlin Turnpike in 2011.
Schupp was dating the victim’s mother at the time, according to police, and the assault happened when the mother was at work.
Schupp has been charged with sexual assault in the fourth degree, sexual assault in the first degree and risk of injury to a child. He is being held on $250,000 bond.
On June 4, Old Saybrook police charged Schupp with first degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child, according to court records. He was released from custody on those charges and is due in court on Oct. 2.
On June 27, state police charged Schupp with sexual assault in the first degree and risk of injury to a child.
