Man and Woman Arrested in Manchester Altercation

Police are investigating after a man and a woman were arrested in connection with a violent altercation in Manchester.

22-year-old Makenzie Boudreau and 46-year-old Jackeno Oliphant were arrested Saturday after police responded to a Oakland Street home for a report of an assault.

When police arrived to the scene, they found a 41-year-old man located in front of the home bleeding from a laceration on his forehead. The man was transported to Hartford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

Police said witnesses reported Boudreau and Oliphant assaulted the man after an argument outside the home.

Witnesses also told police that Boudreau struck the victim in the head with a bottle during the altercation.

Boudreau faces charges including second degree assault, second degree conspiracy to commit assault and second degree breach of peace.

Oliphant faces charges including third degree assault, second degree conspiracy to commit assault and second degree breach of peace.

Both Boudreau and Oliphant are being held on a $100,000 bond and are expected to appear in court on May 16.
