Man Charged With Sexual Assault in Walgreens Incident

Police have arrested a West Haven man who is accused of making a lewd gesture toward a woman in a Walgreens in town on Monday.

Mckinley Myers, 51, is accused of rubbing his genitalia on a female customer's arm as he walked by her in an aisle at the 384 Campbell Avenue Walgreens, police said.

The woman called police right away and officers responded at 12:20 p.m. on Monday.

Video surveillance footage helped police identify Myers as the man in the woman's description and police found him at the bus stop at the First Avenue and Elm Street intersection in West Haven.

Police charged Myers with fourth-degree sexual assault, breach of peace and public indecency.

He was issued a $25,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on March 31.
