Rob Polo, who runs a gutter cleaning business, is offering up his services this weekend for free to any veteran in town.
He said that his only requirement would be that the veteran be there at the time of cleaning so he could shake their hand and thank them for their service.
"Last week, I had said to my wife we need to find someone to do the gutters, I can't go on a ladder this year. And here they are, they showed up on a Sunday, can't thank them enough," Rob Rowlson, of West Hartford, said.
This is the third year Polo has done this for veterans in West Hartford.
