A well-dressed thief in Glastonbury apparently didn’t waste any time before using the items he stole – surveillance footage shows him grabbing golf clubs from open garages and tucking them into a golf bag, according to police.
He appeared to be dressed for the country club. Police said the burglar showed up in a polo shirt, dark windbreaker, khaki pants and dress shoes.
He took golf clubs from six homes in the south and southeastern part of town, then left in a brick-red colored 2000 Acura and Lexus with stock wheels, according to police.
The garages showed no signs of forced entry.
Anyone with information on the thefts is urged to call Glastonbury police at 860-652-4269.
