Man Hospitalized After Getting Shot in Thigh in Hartford

Hartford police are investigating after a man was shot in the capital city just before 2 a.m. Saturday.

He was shot in the right thigh following a disturbance near the intersection of Oakland Terrace and Greenfield Street, police said.

The man told police that two other men approached him and shot him, police said.

He went to St. Francis Hospital in Hartford to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said a woman told them she heard an argument between numerous men outside in the area right before she heard possible gunshots.

Police have not identified the victim publicly and no arrests have been made at this time.
