Man in Stable Condition After Shooting in Waterbury

A man is in stable condition after a shooting in Waterbury on Friday night.

Officers responded to the intersection of Bank Street and Porter Street around 8:45 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

When police arrived, they said they found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

He was transported to a local hospital where authorities said he is currently in stable condition.

The shooting remains under investigation.
