A suspected kidnapper who lived in a Springfield, Massachusetts home where the bodies of three women were found back in May has been indicted on 52 charges, including three counts of murder.

The Hampden County District Attorney's office announced the indictment of Stewart Weldon on Thursday, more than two months after his arrest.

Authorities said Weldon was indicted by the Hampden County Grand Jury on three counts of murder, eight counts of strangulation, nine counts of aggravated rape, two counts of rape, five counts of aggravated kidnapping, four counts of kidnapping, and two counts of assault to rape. The charges stretched over a year's time and involved 11 different victims.

The victims were later identified by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner as Ernestine Ryans, 47, of Springfield, America Lyden, 34, of Springfield, and Kayla Escalante, 27, of Ludlow.
