Man Killed in Waterbury Fire

A man died on Wednesday morning after a fire in a Waterbury home.

A man between 30 and 40 years old died after a fire in a Fox Street residence, officials said. He was the only person in the house when firefighters arrived.

His name has not been released.

The overnight hours have been busy for Waterbury firefighters who responded to a fire at the apartment building at 297 Oakville Ave. Officials said the fire was on the roof and officials believe it is electrical.
