Police are looking for the man who shot a 22-year-old man in the hip in Hamden on Sunday night.
Police found the victim on the front step of a Goodrich Street home around 8 p.m. and said he could not provide any pertinent information.
Witnesses told police a man in a hooded sweatshirt shot the victim, then ran south on Shepard Street.
The victim, who was alert and conscious, was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital for medical treatment.
