Police have identified a man who died after he was found on a Hartford sidewalk with gunshot wounds early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to McKinley Street around 5 a.m. after getting a ShotSpotter activation and a report of shots fired with a person injured.
When police arrived, they said they found 38-year-old Guillermo Rivera, of Hartford, on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Rivera was given immediate medical care and was transported to Hartford Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, authorities said.
