Man Stabbed Victim in Neck Over Parking Spot: Police

A Willimantic man is accused of stabbing someone in the neck over a parking spot in January and has been arrested.

Police said Fredrick Savage, 31, Willimantic, missed one of the victim’s main arteries by around a centimeter and medical personnel described the wound as “extremely severe.”

The victim was taken to Windham Hospital and police obtained an arrest warrant for Savage in early April.

He was arrested while he was at Manchester Superior Court on unrelated charges and has been charged with first-degree assault and he was held on a $100,000 court-set bond. 

No attorney is listed for him.
