Missing Hartford Man With Autism, Health Concerns Found Safe

A Silver Alert has been canceled after a man with autism and other health concerns who was reported missing from Hartford on Saturday was found safe.

Officers said 29-year-old Dashon Foster was reported missing around 10 p.m. by his mother Therosine Jackson. She told police that the last time she spoke to her son was on Saturday at approximately 2:30 p.m.

According to police, Jackson said Foster left without telling anyone where he was going and that it is unlike Foster to not return home.

Police said Foster is autistic and has other health concerns.

On Sunday morning, the Silver Alert for Foster was canceled. Police did not release details about where he was found, but said he is safe.
