It was a busy day at Quinnipiac University on Saturday where a good crowd came out for the Best Buddies Friendship Walk.
The walk helps raise awareness and money to support inclusion for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. And best of all, it helps create many lasting friendships.
"No where in the world where you can feel so welcome like best buddies, everybody's fantasic and you get to meet so many great people," Nolan Adis, of Newtown, said.
NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Kaitlyn McGrath served as emcee for the event.
Volunteers raised over $100,000 this year.
