Crews are working to recover a body in Meriden.
Firefighters initially responded to the area of 800 Westfield Road, the address of Giuffrida Park, for the rescue of a hiker. There are several trails at the park.
Fire officials have since said that call has turned into a body recovery.
The identity of the body is unknown at this time.
Meriden fire and ambulance crews and police responded to the incident.
