A Massachusetts man has been arrested in connection with a crash killed a Meriden family on Interstate 95 South in Waterford in October 2014.

Police said he was driving the tractor-trailer that rear-ended the vehicle Baughnita Leary was driving on Oct. 12, 2014.
Her boyfriend, Darin Robinson Jr., and children, Sanaa Reynolds, 9, and Dacari Robinson, 3, died of injuries sustained in the crash.
The charges comes two days after Leary held a memorial donation drive in memory of her family members.
On Monday, hundreds gathered at City Park in Meriden Monday night to honor their legacy by giving back.
“I want people to take my sorrow and my pain and realize time is of the essence,” Leary said. “We need to teach our children that giving back is what keeps our world going.”
Leary has filed a wrongful death suit against the driver of the tractor-trailer and Gold Medal Bakery, the company he was driving for at the time of the crash.
