Milford Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Credit Union

Milford police are investigating an armed robbery this morning at the General Electric Employees Federal Credit Union.

Police said it appears the robber flashed a handgun at the 265 Bic Drive branch in Milford at 8:44 a.m., obtained money from the cash drawer and fled in a getaway car driven by another person.

The robber is thin, around 5-feet-9 and has a mustache, police said. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and black winter gloves with a snowflake design across the knuckles.

The driver is a man who was wearing a gray hat, police said.

He was operating a green two-door 1995 Honda Accord, with Connecticut registration plate 865 ZUL. It was last seen traveling southbound on Schoolhouse Road towards Interstate 95.
