The New England Food Truck Festival is returning to the casino property and more than 30 food trucks will be serving. There will also be live music, entertainment for kids, field games and more, according to Mohegan Sun.
This is the fourth year for the festival and the event runs Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept. 1, rain or shine.
The food truck festival will be held in the Mohegan Sun Winter Parking Lot on Saturday, from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday, from noon to 8 p.m. There will also be a fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday.
Admission is $6 for one-day tickets if you buy them in advance or $8 for tickets the day of the festival. Two-day tickets will go for $10 and VIP tickets are $35. They are only available online.
VIP tickets allow guests an early access pass into the festival from 11 a.m. to noon, one draft beer or non-alcoholic beverage and one pre-selected menu item from select vendors.
Children under the age of 6 get in for free, but Mohegan Sun requires anyone under the age of 18 to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the food truck festival.
