A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash in New Britain Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the motorcycle and a car collided on West Main Street near Slater Road around 3:45 p.m. The 39-year-old man riding the motorcycle suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The car’s driver, a 49-year-old woman, was not hurt and is cooperating with police. No charges have been filed.
The New Britain Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau is investigating. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Sgt. Steven King at 860-826-3071.
