Mountain Road in Farmington Reopens After Crash

Mountain Road in Farmington has reopened after a pole was broken during a car crash Wednesday morning, according to police.

One vehicle was involved in the crash and the driver was injured and transported to the hospital, police said. No one else was in the vehicle. 

Eversource told police that Mountain Road would be closed between Birdseye Road and Reservoir Road to through-traffic until 3 p.m., according to police. 

Police said at 3:17 p.m. that the road has reopened. 

Police are investigating the crash and no additional information was immediately available.
