East Windsor Home Damaged by Fire

An East Windsor house went up in flames Thursday and two people who were in the home got out safely.

Video from the scene shows a large structure completely engulfed. A neighbor told NBC Connecticut it happened within minutes.

"It just went up very, very quickly. There was a lot of yelling going on because they raise horses, they have kids," Colin Anderson said.

Anderson, who lives across the street, said he ran over to see if he could help but that the fire was too hot to even get close.

There is extensive damage to the home, but a barn on the property was still standing.

No one was injured and firefighters had the fire under control in around 45 minutes.

It's not clear what caused the fire.
