A 27-year-old New Haven man has been arrested and charged with sexually molesting a 5-year-old girl in 2005.
The New Haven Police Warrant Service Unit picked up Adrian Cebada-Sanchez at his Lloyd Street house, according to a report from the New Haven Register. He was arrested on a warrant charging him with sexual assault, unlawful restraint and risk of injury to a minor.
While the alleged crimes happened in 2005, investigators with the state Department of Children and Families became aware of the situation last year.
Police say the suspect knew the little girl but declined to say how to protect her identity.
Cebada-Sanchez is being held on $100,000 bond.
