A 21-year-old man was shot in the buttocks in New Haven Wednesday.
Police responded to Henry Street and Dixwell Avenue after a report of multiple gunshots in the area around 11:15 a.m. and found the victim, a 21-year-old New Haven man, who had a gunshot wound to the buttocks. and was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Investigators believe the man was sitting in his car when another car pulled up and someone shot him.
The victim was shot in the buttocks and is in stable condition.
Police said they believe the victim was specifically targeted.
