The city of New Haven will host “Flights of Fancy” on Thursday, a special wine tasting and shopping event at The Shops at Yale.
For $20, attendees will receive an exclusive event wine glass and will help support local businesses offering free in-store wine tastings courtesy of The Wine Thief, live music and special discounts and giveaways.
Free validated parking will be available at The York Street Garage at 150 York Street.
At the end of the event, guests will head to The Study at Yale Hotel for complimentary dessert provided by Insomnia Cookies and Willoughby’s coffee.
Multiple retailers, including Barnes & Noble – The Yale Bookstore, Shen, Campus Customs, Wave Gallery, Raggs and Oaxaca Kitchen will participate.
Those interested can register online until 11 p.m. Oct 22, or in person from 4-7 p.m. the day of the event at The Study at Yale Hotel on Chapel Street. The event is limited to the first 700 participants.
