New London Police rescued a sick seal at Ocean Beach on Saturday.
Officers responded to Ocean Beach on Saturday afternoon after getting a report of a sick seal.
Police said the seal was wrapped in a blanket and was transported to Mystic Aquarium for rehabilitation and treatment.
The type of sickness the seal had is unknown at this time.
