AT&T mobile customers are not able to use 911 to reach Newington police, according to the police department.
Newington police said they learned of the issue and they are urging any AT&T mobile phone user who needs emergency services in Newington to call the routine number, (860) 666-8445, and select prompt #5.
Newington police said the phone company is working to fix the problem.
