No Booze Allowed on Metro-North on St. Patrick's Day

Metro-North is warning anyone who will be taking the trains on Saint Patrick’s Day to leave the booze at home or MTA police might confiscate it.

Metro-North will not allow alcoholic beverages on trains, platforms or at stations and said it is to maintain orderly travel for customers.

The ban is in effect through 5 a.m. on Friday.

Anyone traveling to the New York City Saint Patrick's Day Parade should buy round-trip tickets in advance.
