All Windsor Locks schools have been closed Friday and students have been sent home due to bomb threats, according to police.
Police said a bomb threat was called into the North Street School at 10:44 a.m. and the school was placed in lockdown, then the school was evacuated.
Erring on the side of caution, students were dismissed, police said.
Around 45 minutes later, a bomb threat was called into the South Street School and that school was evacuated.

Police called for mutual aid to assist in the investigation and bomb-sniffing dogs were brought in.
After the North Street School was checked, crews checked the South Street School, police said.
No explosives or suspicious packages or items were found, police said. Both locations were secure.

Police said the calls were both described as coming from an automated voice. The detective division is investigating.
