Norwalk Man Accused of Photographing Victim After Sexual Assault

Norwalk Police arrested a man who is accused of sexually assaulting someone and then photographing them earlier this year.

Police said detectives arrested 32-year-old Thom Nikas at his home on Friday.

According to police, Nikas had an active arrest warrant that stemmed from a sexual assault that happened in September.

Detectives executed a search warrant at Nikas's residence and found images that they said he had taken of the victim after the sexual assault.

Detectives said they also found images of unknown women that appear to have been taken in Nikas's bedroom. Police are attempting to identify the women in the images to determine if they knew they were being filmed.

Nikas is facing charges including sexual assault and voyeurism. His bond is $750,000 and he is expected in court on Friday.
