Storm conditions brought down a pole in Plainfield overnight, police said Tuesday.
Police said the pole, located on Norwich Road near the intersection with Old Norwich Road broke late Monday. Norwich Road is closed between Lathrop Road and Mill Brook Road and is expected to be closed for a few hours.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
