Police are investigating after a shooting in New Haven Friday night.
The incident happened just after 8:30 p.m. on Grand Avenue and Poplar Street, according to investigators.
A 43-year-old man was shot in the lower leg and faces non-life threatening injuries.
The man was transported to a New Haven hospital.
