One person was injured in a drive-by shooting on Munchausen Avenue in Bristol Monday night.
Police said they responded to the area of Munchausen Avenue and Prospect Street just before 8 p.m. for reports of shots fired. Upon investigation officers found a victim with a gunshot wound at a nearby home.
The victim reported that he was riding in a car on Munchausen Avenue when someone in another vehicle fired several shots. The victim was grazed on the left side of his head. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The victim was treated on scene and taken to Bristol Hospital for further treatment. He has not been identified.
The Bristol Police Department Patrol and Criminal Investigation Divisions are both working on the case. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 860-584-3011.
