Police have identified the man killed in a crash in Westport Sunday.
Emergency crews responded to 57 Weston Road just before 1 a.m. Sunday and found a car fully engulfed after it had hit a utility pole, bringing down power lines.
One person was found dead in the car, according to police. The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Cullen Walsh of Weston.
Investigators said it appears speed was a factor in the crash.
Weston Road was closed between Sipperley's Hill Road and Silver Brook Road from around 1 a.m. Sunday until 3 a.m. Monday.
