A deadly crash shut down Route 2 eastbound in East Hartford for hours Saturday. Two cars collided near exit 5B just before 4 p.m., according to State Police.
The impact flipped one car to roll over. One person was killed, and there's no word on any other injuries.
Traffic was backed up for miles while crews worked to clear the scene. The road reopen shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday.
