Part of Blue Hills Avenue was closed in Bloomfield for hours after a car hit a pole just south of Forest Lane around 6 a.m., according to police.
The driver ran from the car and police have not yet found the person.
Blue Hills was closed between Forest Lane and Park Avenue, so use Route 178 and Wintonbury Ave., but is has since reopened.
