Part of Route 6 was closed after a pedestrian was struck on Saturday, according to the CT Department of Transportation.

The highway was closed between Oakland Street and Page Avenue but has since reopened.

The accident was reported at approximately 5:21 p.m.

There is no word on injuries at this time.
