Part of a tree has fallen on a house in Cheshire.
Fire officials said part of a tree fell on a house on Meriden Road and some branches went through the roof. No one is injured.
Heavy rain has started to fall in Connecticut as Tropical Storm Elsa approaches, but police said the weather was not significant in the area when the tree came down.
