A 44-year-old man was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Trumbull Street and Hillhouse Avenue in New Haven and was taken to the hospital.
Police said they received the report at 5:46 a.m. and the vehicle remained at the scene.
The man who was struck is in the hospital in stable condition, according to police.
