A Wallingford man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was hit by a car Friday.
Wallingford police said it happened in the area of 1219 Old Colony Road around 6:07 p.m. The pedestrian, a 31-year-old man, was trying to cross the street when he was hit. He was rushed to Hartford Hospital in critical condition.
The driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
No other details were immediately available.
