A person is in critical condition after a shooting on Young Street Thursday morning, police said.
The police department was called to the area at about 11:22 a.m. for a reported shooting. Officers found a person who had been shot, and they were taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment.

WATCH HEREThe person remains in critical, but stable condition. Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit and Bureau of Identification responded to the scene and are actively investigating.
