That's Not the Drive-Thru!

An impatient man couldn't wait for a gorditas and drove in the wrong way.

A Connecticut driver gave new meaning to the term "drive thru" Wednesday night when he drove his beemer right into a Taco Bell in Manchester Wednesday night.

Maybe the impatient 20-year-old couldn't wait any longer to get his chicken gorditas, because he backed out of the Taco Bell drive--thru. In an attempt to park his BMW, he apparently stepped on the gas instead of the brake and wound up plowing into the building, right under a sign that reads, "Drive-Thru Open."

The car shattered the windows of the restaurant at 1524 Pleasant Valley Road around 9 p.m. Wednesday and narrowly missed a customer sitting just a few tables away.

Luckily, no one was injured.

The driver, whose name hasn't been released, recently got his license, police said. He was not arrested.
