New Haven Police have made an arrest in an Easter morning murder.
William Wilkins, 21, of New Haven, was arrested Wednesday.
He shot and killed Radcliff Deroche, 18, as Deroche rode an ATV down Dixwell Avenue April 4, police said.
Wilkins has been on the run since police obtained a warrant for his arrest May 11, investigators said. With the help of the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force, New Haven police arrested Wilkins in the Fair Haven section of the city.
He is facing charges of murder, criminal use of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit and reckless endangerment. He's being held on $2 million bond.
