State police are investigating after someone fired a bullet into a tractor-trailer in the rest area on Interstate 95 in Milford this morning and they have release a description of the suspect.
The driver reported the damage around 2 a.m. and state police said there was a bullet hole in the driver's side of the tractor-trailer.
When police reviewed surveillance video from the scene, they saw a heavyset shirtless man wearing blue jeans and tan boots walking around the area before gunfire was reported.
The man and a woman with long hair, dark pants and a dark T-shirt sped of in a Ford Super Duty, according to police.
Anyone with information about what happened is asked to call the Troop G barracks at 203-696-2500.
No one was injured and police do not believe the driver was connected with the suspected shooter or the woman.
