Police are investigating a two-car crash at 2460 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden that sent one person to the hospital on Monday.
Police said a car was leaving the parking lot of Tommy K's Plaza at 8:30 a.m. when it was hit by a vehicle heading south on Dixwell Avenue.
The driver of a black sedan involved in the crash was pulled from the vehicle because of damage to the driver's side door and take to Yale-New Haven Hospital. Police said the injuries are not life-threatening.
The other driver did not appear to be injured. Police are investigating.
