A man was shot in the chest in Hartford on Saturday, police said.
Police are investigating a shooting that happened near the intersection of Park Road and Hungerford Street just after 10 a.m. Officers responded to the area after the department's ShotSpotter system detected shots fired in the area.
The man shot left the scene and walke to Hartford Hospital, according to police.
He sustained a non-lif-threatening gunshot wound to the torso and is stable.
Major crimes investigators are responding.
